MV Maddness

I'm thinking from now on when I review MVs I will do them from best to worst- just to add some structure to these posts. so from (subjectivly) best to worst come the latest H!P MVs.

Was there ever any dought this MV would be awesome? I mean Kanon and Duu as centers?! This is amazing! Morning Musume is now forgiven for every bad MV they have ever made. The dance team were awesome and I love their outfits. All the girls look fabulous especially my baby, suzuki-san. You go girl! This MV is the standard H!P formular but it has an interesting set, nice outfits and a baddass dance which keeps it from being boring.

I was not sure whether to place this above or below Kobushi factory and to be honest I still don't know...
Masaki and Miki are centers in this single which is cool because Masaki doesn't usually get much attention and I think she is quite cute in a kind of Momochi kind of way. I was not sure about the red costumes when I first saw them but in the actual MV they look quite nice. Once again this is the standard H!P formular but It's still pretty and suits the song quite nicely.

I love this song. It's so cool. All the girls are So cute. I don't know any of there names except Ayano but this video makes me want to find out more about the other girls. Once again it's basically Just a glorified dance shot but it looks good all the same. I really like the set even though it's pretty simple. That basically somes up the whole video really, it's pretty simple but I really like it.

I know alot of people really like this MV and I really want to aggree with them. It's a really good music video. It has interesting scenes, cute outfits, a good dance and all the girls look great but... I don't know... Ju=Ju just has not really been doing it for me recently... I'll probably rewatch this a couple of months from now and really regret putting it so low...

This is another one I might regret putting so low but I suppose something has to be in last place. I love the outfits. This dance is pretty cool. Once again standard H!P formular but I find this one less interesting than the others. Then again I might change my mind... It's been known to happen before.

Why Cuca needs to be Morning Musume

Cuca is the youtube name of a thirteen year old japanese girl who has been covering morning musume (amoung others) since 2008.Her dream is to be in morining musume and she has auditioned three times.

her first videos showed her shaky vocals, good sense of rhythm. They also go to prove her dedication to performing and ignoring her little brother with all her might! poor yuto...

Cuca chan is a girl of many talents. While researching for this post I discovered she plays piano too!

And here is her latest cover. She sure has come a long way hasn't she. Her voice has improved greatly and her dancing is just amazing. What I love about Cuca is that she never stops improving which is a good quality for an idol to have.

Cuca has auditioned for morning musume three times-first at age eleven she tried for the 11th generation but failed because she was too young. a year later she tried for the first twelth generation but failed to pass the second round. She then tried for the second twelth gen audition and again, failed to pass the first round... :(

Cuca would be perfect in morning musume she is dedicated, hardworking and never stops trying to improve herself. She is incredibly cute and despite being young seems very mature so I think she could pull off the more mature song they are doing now. And she knows like every dance to every hello project song ever! That will save loads of time when rehearsing for concerts!

More MVs

I love this so much! Momochi is so cute!  I hope H!P makes more MVs like this. It has a plot and everything. some of the acting is pretty awkward but that just makes it cuter. all the oufits are adorable and the dance is awesome!

I can't handle how cute they are... I... I just can't....

I'm not really a fan of the darker MVs... The song is good. The oufits are cute. The dance is nice. It's just not really my thing.

This is more my style. I love the energetic, encouraging songs. All the girls look super cute!

Super super cute. I really love magical girl anime so this song is very special to me. I love MVs that use member colours. The third gen is so cute. Definately my favorite song on the single.

Pretty boring seeing as it's just close ups but it showcases all the members and fits the song. I probably won't watch it very often but I like it all the same. I have to say, it's probaly the cheapest MV H!P ever made. I hope the other MV is more interesting. Anyway the song is beautiful so the plain MV isn't really an issue.

Hotzmic~Tsunku's daughter debuts!

The following video is from a video game which tsunku writes songs for. Apparently tsunku wrote this song from the point of view of a child so his daghter helped him by singing it to check it sounded good with a childs voice. He was going to have someone else sing it but since it sounded good with her she got to record the song and a music video for the video game under the name Hotzmic.

A lot of people have complained that the song is to mature for a 6 year old. I disagree she's just talking about wanting to be treated like an adult which is something most children want. You could make a case about some of the dance moves being a bit suggestive but nobody's really mentioned that... The girl who appears at the end is called Katzmic and is rumour to be her 4 year old sister. Hotzmic also has a twin brother who does not appear in the video.

Her english is really good.

I wonder if she plans on becoming an idol. I bet she would be good at it. only time will tell.

~Fukuda Kanon to graduate from ANGERME. We all saw this coming didn't we? It was bound to happen sooner or later. I think with the addition of the 3rd generation Kanon feels like she is leaving the group in good hands. I always thought Kanon was one of the cutest girls in hello project so I'll be sad when she's gone but I think this is the right time for her, she been in H!P since she was nine years old, she deserves a rest.
~4th generation ANGERME! This is weird... I mean didn't we just add the 3rd gen? I wonder if more members are leaving, that might explain the hastiness of another audition... or maybe this is just a rouse to add more kenshuusei? Either way it's an odd choice but whatever who am I to argue with the managment's logic.
~Shimamura Uta leaves country girls. The reason given was contract issues with her family. I don't believe this because the last time this excuse was used (when Otsuka Ai left J=J) it turned out to be a lie. I'm not blaming the managment for this, perhaps the reasons are personal and Uta asked them to make something up. Either way I'm sad to see her go.
~Kobushi Factory magor debut announced. Their debut single will have a remix of their indies single, an orgional song and a cover of a Sharam Q song so thats cool.

It's odd how much Hello Projectis changing lately... it really makes me feel like a veteran at this...
There's one more piece of news I'd like to talk about but I'm saving that for it's own post.

Karin Maruyama~Eternal Smile

Karin Maruyama died on May 22 2015. I have not blogged about her before but in the short time I known of this girl she have become one of my favourite idols ever. She always had such a bright smile. She had a beautiful voice and dediacted herself to every performance wholeheartedly. Her dream was to be an idol, and I can honestly say that in the short time I've been her fan, Karin has become one of my favourite idols of all time and she will always remain there. She was twenty one years old. In such a short time she achieved so much. She was a strong young woman who fought past all obstacels to achieve her dream. We can all learn so much from Karin, it's just a shame she had to leave us so soon.

Here's my opinioons on the latest H!P MVs-

 

I love this! I sing this song all the time. All the girls look gorgeous (~beautiful as diamonds~). The way they included the initials of the graduated members is great too. This MV never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Ok, this is cool. The girls all look great. I love the school uniforms. The shots on top of the train are awesome! And the other shots are cool too! The effects are over the top but that just adds to the fun! I also like how all the members get some attention (some get more than others but everyone gets to show their personalities). But we all know why I really like this MV... Kanon.

The only thing I like is the outfits... I'm still mad about the karin thing.

Ditto. though this one has a pretty set too.

The oufits are pretty cute ( I'm not so sure about Tomoko's new haircute though...) I love the french theme of this video and I hope J=J do more songs like this (they could cover berryz's cha cha sing and dschinghis khan) The dance is pretty cute too.

It's a bit bright but that didn't bother me with are kore shitai so it won't bother me here either.  It's a super uplifting song and is really fun to listen to. The oufits are nice and I really like the set. The dance is fun too. nothing really stands out to me but it's still a great MV... just a little aniclimatic I guess? I do really enjoy the lalala bits at the end though.

Love the song and the girls look really cute. They all put loads of energy into the performance. I'm told they sound better live and considering they sound pretty great anyway they must be amazing in concert! I wish Survivor got an MV too...

 I love this MV. The opening bit is so cool and creepy. All the girls look adorable especially Maho-chan (everyone seems so enthralled by Mizuki and Rikako but neglect Maho...) The lyrics are cool too...

 Such a fun, happy song! again everyone look great. Rikako is definately the star here with Meimi having a close second. This song gets stuck in my head all the time...

Short Break

*sigh* Hello everyone....
I'm not very happy as of late and I'm not gonna lie its Morning Musume's fault. I was going to write a long ranting post about how much Ihate their latest single but... Nobody wants to hear that right?
So I'll be taking a short break from blogging so I have time to calm down. Not saying you wan't ever get that ranting post; I just want to wait so I don't say something I regret. I might also take this chance to blog about something non-H!P related so look forward to that.

Hello again!
Seriously what is wrong with Hello Project? they go like 3 months without even a single MV and then they release like a bajillion!
So without further ado here is Country Girls' second M.

I definately prefer this song to the other one and I love the MV too! It's super pretty and frilly and prissy and pink!
Everything is soooooooooooo CUTE! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Speaking of C-ute...

This song is pretty cool. It's not my favorite but whatever... It has a pretty interesting story to it. Maybe I just can't relate to the lyrics much? That makes sense. The MV is cool too but the next one is so much better!

This is my favorite of the two so far (I say this because I have not heard the third song yet). All the girls look gorgeous! I can't decide who stands out the most, I mean Saki is my bias but look at Airi! And Chisato! And  Mai! Maimi didn't really stand out to me tbh....
The song is awesome too!

Long Time, No See!

It's been awhile, hasn't it? I haven't posted in awhile because I didn't really feel there was much going on for me to write about (in retrospect there was actually quite alot I could have written about...I guess I'm just lazy?)
So without further ado lets look at the hello project news!

Kobushi Factory
I planned to make a post about this when it was announced but... I figured i'd wait until there was more information and now seem about right.

They seem to be Berryz Koubou's replacement if you look at the name and the number of members, which is cool, I guess... Not really sure how I feel about that...But I'm sure it will turn out fine! I mean what's the worst that could happen? (looks at Coconuts Musume)
I'm super happy for all the girls, especially my baby Ayano!

Berryz Graduates

Oooooh they're wearing black. How symbolic.

I'm not too sad about this, to be honest. I mean, we all new this was coming right? I will miss all the girls of course but... I just feel kind of numb, you know?
And anyway my favorite member is staying in H!P anyway so yeah...

Ima Koko Kara MV

When I heard that MM15 would be singing the theme for the new Precure movie I just about died. I love Precure and MM15! This is a match made in heaven!
The first time I heard this I was not happy with the use of autotune but on every following listen I have grown to like it more.
I like the animated scenes and I get why they are there but I with we got more shots of the girls... I suppose we have two other MVs on the way for that though.

Itooshikutte Gomen ne

Not sure about the orange... Or the song to be honest...(I do like the little "I'm Sorry" parts but other than that I'm not a fan...)
The girls are absolutely adorable though and maybe the song will grow on me. Let's hope for the best!
