Sakura Gakuin is one of those really big idol groups. On the subject of really big idol groups, you know what I like about really big idol groups? Variety. I love learning to recognize a new akb48 member (still on 4 girls so far). I love hearing music styles evolve over time (hello morning musume!). What I love most of all is the variety of different members who are in the group over the years. This is where sakura gakuin comes in, sakura gakuin means cherry blossom academy and as soon as a member graduates from junior high, they also graduate from the group. This means every year the lineup changes ( it looks like morning musume is trying to incorporate a similar strategy with the 12th gen)... And its awesome.
With the school theme also comes the subgroups or the clubs. These are smaller groups of girls who form groups (see how that works?) based around a certain theme. So far only 3 of these groups have mvs for their songs but they are all amazing (SCOOPERS is my favorite).
